Travel or Trip? Have you gotten confused between travel and trip? Hopefully today’s lesson will help you learn the differences between trip and travel.

How to use TRAVEL: Travel is a verb. It means to go to a different place for vacation or some other purpose like work or school. Ex: He rarely travels by plane. I am travelling by train. (Note: when using the verb travel in the progressive form it has two different spellings. Americans usually write it as traveling, while in the UK it is usually written as travelling. Here in Canada people used both spellings.)
How to use TRIP: Trip is a noun. It is used similarly to the way the word ‘vacation’ is used. Ex: My trip last year was a lot of fun. I am going on a trip soon.
