One of the best viewpoints in Norway is Pulpit Rock, named after its distinctive shape.



Over the sheer edge of the rock is a drop of nearly 2,000 feet.



The view from Pulpit Rock is simply breath-taking (and maybe a little vertigo-inducing).



Directly below and stretching into the distance, you see spectacular scenery.



The Pulpit's near-flatness combined with the view make it a great picnic location.



The roughly two hour hike up to the top is more than worth the trip.
