Things go from bad to worse for Jeremy and James after a burst of speed wrecks the Hilux. Meanwhile, Richard's tactical racing has allowed him to catch up. But both teams are still trapped in the impossible conditions of the ice field and tempers for both man and dog are beginning to fray.
