Allergies are quite common, but some of the strangest allergies can make life difficult for many. According to experts, one out of five people has an allergy. So even if you don’t suffer from allergies, more than likely you know someone who does.

Many people have mild to severe allergic reactions to common substances or allergens. These include dust, mold, pollen, animal dander, cockroaches, insect stings, and latex. Even certain medications and some foods can be problematic. Including eggs, fish, shellfish, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and wheat.

But while more strange allergies emerge each year, the chances of you actually developing one of these weird allergies is rather slim. That being said, allergic reactions to water, the sun, caffeine, kissing, and even cold temperatures do actually exist.

It’s good to be informed, so you don’t think you’re going crazy if you happen to have a reaction that you can’t explain.
