According to a report in TheWrap, actor Tom Hardy has been approached to play the title character of Apocalypse in the upcoming X-MEN: AGE OF APOCALYPSE film. Apocalypse, also known as En Sabah Nur, is the world's first mutant who was born in Egypt around 3,000 BC and used advanced technology to make himself an eternal conquerer, believing whole heartedly in survival of the fittest and the culling of the weak.
