Noor is an award-winning young journalist who I really admire… and apparently, the feeling is mutual. Noor recently surprised me with a thank you note, sharing how my work on TODAY and CBS News inspired her as a girl to dream of filling the anchor chair. “For years, I dreamed of following directly in your footsteps,” she told me. “I wanted to be the first woman in a hijab to anchor the news on an American network.
