From Garra fish breeding to Archerfish spitting to bugs making insect cocktail, these animals behaviors will stop you in your tracks!
The archerfish is a carnivorous fish that floats near the surface of the water, awaiting spiders and insects. Once prey is near, archerfish can gun down prey up to five feet above the water by spitting a jet of water from its mouth!
The unique conditions of Arabia have created opportunities for the weird and wonderful Oman Garra fish. When the floodwater creates new channels through the rocks linking pools together, they expand into new territory by rock climbing and heaving themselves over rapids.
In this video, we get a close-up look at various insects and bugs eating. From herbivore grasshoppers eating leaves to carnivore beetles, assassin bugs, and scorpions eating various other bugs, insects, and animals we get some great views of these arthropods eating while learning a little bit as well.
