Prog rock bands have been making concept albums for decades, but the New York based metal icons Coheed and Cambria have taken things to a whole different level with an entire concept career. With five albums over two decades telling one massive science fiction epic storyline called The Amory Wars, Coheed and Cambria have entered into music legend.

But the band is more than just the sci-fi writing and singing of leader Claudio Sanchez, who has turned the Amory Wars into a multi-media empire. It also encompasses side projects like Prize Fighter Inferno, and guitarist Travis Stever's Fire Deuce and Davenport Cabinet. Sound like a lot?
