We've all heard of Achilles, especially within the context of the phrase "Achilles' Heel," but many of us couldn't provide much more detail to the story of this mythical Greek figure than that. However, in ancient Greece, Achilles was the man, right up there with Hercules in terms of importance to the Greek cultural mythos. Sadly for this ancient character, Hercules has had a greatest second act, through the work of Disney and others. This is partly because any movie about Achilles would surely be rated R, and in fact that's what the Brad Pitt Achilles movie "Troy" from 2004 was rated. Want to know why?
