The box office numbers are in and as expected, THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY Part 1 dominated the weekend making roughly double than the next 9 films in the top 10 combined. The new film took in $123 million on its opening weekend while BIG HERO 6 held on to the #2 spot making just over $20 million in its 3rd week. INTERSTELLAR made another $15 million on its third week while DUMB AND DUMBER TO fell to the #4 spot making $13.8 million. Rounding out the top 5 is GONE GIRL with its 8th straight week in the top 5 brining in another $2.8 million.
