the end of this chapter (important announcement)

I started developing the Sunee App and brand in 2018, at a time where my career and building my business was my main focus and drive. Before I was a mother and a wife I felt such a sense of purpose and passion pouring all of my time into work.

Now in 2023, a lot has changed. Priorities have shifted, business goals have been refined and most importantly, I have become a wife and a mother. This season of motherhood has been my greatest blessing and an experience I know is fleeting. In our life there is time to do everything, but not all at once.

With all of this in mind and my intentions to create more balance in my life, I have come to the decision to close down the Sunee App. When I work on a project or product, I will give it my all and nothing less. Considering all avenues and possibilities for the app's future, the decision to close the app has been one that has given me the greatest sense of peace.

In saying this, this has not been a decision I have made lightly as I know how special and impactful Sunee and our recipes are to so many of you. I want to take this moment to sincerely thank every single one of you who have supported Sunee. None of this would have been possible without you and I’m so grateful that you have been along for this amazing journey!

While the app will no longer exist, this is not goodbye. My passion for creating healthy recipes is deeper than ever, however, my approach and pace will now honour my season. The experience of creating my cookbook was the confirmation I needed to acknowledge that right now in my life, I need to be working on a project basis.. This allows me to pour all of my creativity into my work, whilst prioritising my role as a mother and raising my boys.
