It turns out there are 9 types of intelligence, according to developmental psychologist Howard Gardner who first came up with the multiple intelligence theory in 1983. He realized that soft skills were actually different types of intelligence. Therefore, just because you aren’t good at math or languages doesn’t mean you are not smart! We all have strengths, and when we hone in on those strengths, we further develop our natural talents. That’s right! We are all talented in our own unique ways.
