Along the highway towards Cameron Highlands you may come across a strange trade taking place. There 's a parked van and lorry and there's a trader in a hurry to load baskets full of native durians of all shapes and sizes into his lorry. Besides these you will find a native or two giving a helping hand . This is a simple trade scenario between a durian "borong" ( wholesaler ) trader and the natives from the hinterland. The native durians are unlike those blended or branded species in city stalls . Nevertheless , they are unique in taste and texture and free from insecticides . The trader usually offer these haul at "eat all you can " stalls at very affordable prices from even RM 10 for two. Great for group gatherings and when you just crave for more with a limited budget.
