Alexandra educates us on ways in which teaching can be enriched by an understanding of the brain. Knowing how students learn and gearing teaching methods towards that helps them truly learn material. Her passions for teaching and brains come through as she helps the audience learn about learning. Alexandra Urban is a junior at Brown University studying Educational Neuroscience, meaning she studies how humans learn on a biological level and how this can be applied to improve teaching. She is the president of a co-ed literary fraternity on campus and a member of the inaugural TRI-Lab on early childhood development. Alexandra enjoys talking about science, education, and passions.
