Official Merchandise Store:
The homelite male leopard is a dominant male leopard with territory north of the Sand river, he is the father of Khokhovela and Basile and most likely any other cubs of the Tlangisa female leopard.
Homelite is usually a shy male leopard and is not often photographed at close range. His name comes from his fast roar that sounds like a petrol chainsaw trying to start (Homelite is a power tool brand). Here Homelite male leopard had caught a warthog so was full and relaxed for once allowing me to get a good look at him and film some nice footage!
Filmed in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa
Filmed in 4K UHD resolution using the Sony AX100 video camera
