Suvarillada Chithirangal is first film of Bhagyaraj directorial venture, He did it, He handle his own style of script, meaning, screenplay and humor. Bhagyaraj is side kick but he also fall love with Heroine Sumathi, Sudhakar takes her off. The story revolves around a poor girl living with widowed mother and siblings. Poverty and the family suitation gets her mother to prostitute herself for the welfare of the family. Director Bhagyaraj,treats this subject from the perspective of the girl who sees the wrong of her mother. With excellent screenplay and characterization Bhagyaraj, proves his calibre in this first directorial. Goundamani, Salem Singaram and Gandhimathi brings Bhagyaraj humor through out the film.
