Zie Weathers is a senior and Student Body Vice President at Bioscience High School. His two guiding interests, photography and entrepreneurship, have influenced his direction in and out of school. He loves a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Anayensi Almaraz, a senior at Bioscience High School, works as an ambassador with "Generation Know." a group that tackles misconceptions about girls' bodies. She also mentors with "Be A Leader," a club focused on creating a college-ready mentality.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
