Snake with NO EYES??

This is one beautiful clutch of reticulated pythons, but while looking through some of the eggs, one of the baby snakes was different than the rest with some weird snake eyes, or lack thereof! Eyeless snakes seem to happen in about every 5,000 hatched at Prehistoric Pets and The Reptile Zoo, and has nothing to do with genetics of the mother and father. Rather, it seems it is just a strange genetic mutation or deformity that only affects the snake's eye sight, as you can see the Burmese python with no eyes is doing amazing.
