The upcoming Stephen King adaptation THE STAND is having trouble holding on to directors. Ben Affleck was originally attached to direct the film until he departed and most recently CRAZY HEART and the upcoming OUT OF THE FURNACE director Scott Cooper was attached. Reports are coming in that Cooper has also left the project due to creative differences with the studio.
