Ron Howard Is 'Confused And Disillusioned' Over Trump's Border Closing Talk EXCLUSIVE

Monday, April 1, 2019 - Legendary director Ron Howard is in a chatty mood as he arrives in Los Angeles after he "worked all weekend." When asked about President Trumps threat to close the US-Mexico border if Mexico if doesn't do more to stem the flow of immigrants seeking asylum, Howard responds, "I'm so confused and disillusioned, that I don't make any predictions anymore." And when questioned if he would ever direct a film about Trump's presidency, he responds, "I always said, that what I was hoping was that his presidency would turn out to be a great Broadway musical comedy someday. But it may be getting a little more serious -- it might be hard to laugh at."
