In Puerto Rico, lawmakers and protesters have voiced opposition to a lawyer nominated by disgraced Governor Ricardo Rossello to be his successor. Rossello is slated to step down after weeks of protest against corruption and inadequate disaster response. The final straw was a leaked chat demonstrating Rossello's contempt for women, gay people and victims of Hurricane Maria. DW met with some locals who fought back.
