Egan is a Professor of Philosophy and Public Affairs & Administration at California State University, East Bay. Her research interests include feminist philosophy, critical theory, political philosophy, ethics, the philosophy of public administration, and the works of Theodor Adorno, Michel Foucault, and Judith Butler.
