Football is back and the season started with the longest professional game since 1970. The Dolphins Titans game went seven hours and ten minutes. Two members of the Miami Dolphins took a knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality and discrimination against African Americans. It is a tough thing because a lot of people take great offense to any protest of our flag whereas others point out rightly that the freedom to protest is why we have an American flag and that peaceful protest is one of the most patriotic things you can do. It's hard to not have mixed feelings about it, so here's an idea that may work for everyone.
