Places Around The World Women Are Not Allowed

We like to think we live in a modern world, where progressive ideals regarding gender roles and equal rights are the norm, but this is not the case in many corners of the globe. In certain specific cases, women are entirely barred from entering certain spaces and facilities, for reasons that are a bit more diverse than you might expect. Of course, religious bigotry and antiquated modes of thinking account for most of these restrictions, but this is not always the case. And in at least one example, women have responded by creating their own exclusive spaces, in which men are not just unwelcome, but absolutely forbidden from entering. These are places around the world where women are not allowed.
