Om Jai Veene Vaali - Saraswati Aarti is a prayer done in praise of Goddess Saraswati. Daughter of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga, Saraswati is considered as the Goddess of wisdom and learning. Clad in white, she has a beautiful and elegant presence and represents purity and knowledge.
Aarti is a Hindu religious ritual of worship, a part of puja, in which light from wicks soaked in ghee (purified butter) or camphor is offered to one or more deities. Aartis also refer to the songs sung in praise of the deity, when lamps are being offered.
