Adopt your new best friend at NKLA Adoption Weekend. Meet over 1,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for adoption from more than 50 Los Angeles rescues and shelters, Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at La Brea Tar Pits. Adoption fees start as low as $25, including spay/neuter, shots and microchip, plus a starter kit with food, toys, coupons and other pet-related items. Participating rescues include Border Collies in Need, Boston Buddies, Inc., Yorkie Rescue, German Shepherd Rescue, Kitten Rescue and A Cat's Tale.
