New York – Here's How to Get Your Medical Marijuana License

Brooklyn's first-ever medical marijuana dispensary will open in December. We have had medical marijuana in California for years before it recently became legal for recreational use. You have to go to a doctor to get a prescription and to get the prescription, you have to give the doctor a medical reason why you need marijuana. They weren't too strict, but you still have to tell them something, so to help New Yorkers with that our staff put together a list reasons we used in LA to get a medical marijuana license. #KimmelinBrooklyn
