Rian Rodriguez is currently music director at Leland High School where he has been teaching for the past ten years. He conducts all of the performing ensembles including the wind ensemble, orchestra, chamber choir, women's choir, and the jazz combo. The Leland chamber choir was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in March of 2014. Mr. Rodriguez has led orchestras in Romania and the United States. He has recently taken over the position as music director for the Saratoga Community Band. Rian holds a Bachelor's in Trumpet Performance and a Masters in Instrumental Conducting, both from San Jose State University
