Reports have been circulating for a while that Matt Damon was going to be returning to Jason Bourne, and now the actor himself has confirmed it is coming in 2016. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Damon confirmed that they will be shooting the new Bourne film in the fall of 2015 for a 2016 release date. This contradicts the earlier report that the new Damon lead Bourne film would hit theaters in 2015.
