MAMA BIRD BATTLES SNAKE TO SAVE BABIES

I don’t think of birds in terms of having a lot of courage, but a friend of mine sent me this video that… well, shows a female bird with the biggest set of cajones that I have ever seen…

I don’t know where this was shot, but what’s happening here is that mama bird has come home to find a snake inside her tree nest. Now, the snake obviously wants to make a meal out of the chics but mom isn’t about to let that happen.
Ok, if you knew a snake was inside a hole would you stick your face in there?
I think the snake is like, don’t bother me for a little while, but he clearly doesn’t understand who he is dealing with.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what kind of snake this is or how venomous it is, but whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to have the juice to stop Mama Bird….
I love the way she knows how to get out of the snakes line of sight and then sneak up on him over and over…
This video can be seen in many spots on the internet, but I have never been able to find a version that goes on any longer than this. I’m assuming, the snake had to look for another restaurant and the Momma bird won.
