Martino is the first CEO of the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, an ambitious concept to develop an incubator and accelerator for the life sciences sector.

By offering small biotech start-ups access to facilities traditionally associated with large pharmaceutical companies, the key aim is to pioneers a culture of open innovation that will place the UK bioscience sector at the forefront of worldwide biomedical discovery.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
