Magnets Aid in Weight Loss Surgery

Now surgeons are using magnets in the OR during laparoscopic procedures, and bariatric surgeon Dr. Carson Liu demonstrates exactly what the magnets do. He shares that if you need to move an organ out of the way to gain access to the problem area, he will use magnets to pick up the organ and lift it out of the way. He shares now magnets are being used in procedures like heartburn surgery, gallbladder surgery, and weight loss surgery.
