The MK Pride and the Nomads are on a collision course. As the water dries up, the prey animals in the area all congregate around the watering hole, which draws in the lions. The MK lionnesses hunt buffalo in the dark. Filmmaker Sam stumbles upon a hyena mother and cub. When the mother leaves to find food, the cub is left alone, and narrowly avoids being seen, and killed, by a wandering leopard.
