Young lions Max and Leo are eager to learn the ways of the pride. They've picked up a few things from their mothers, and when they spot a herd of water buffalo, they see their chance to prove themselves. But in their early training, they've yet to understand the concept of patience, and they're about to get a serious lesson in it. The herd refuses to back down from the pride, protecting their calves at all costs, and chasing away the pride. But Leo is caught in the middle of a stampede, and must find a way to survive without being trampled.
