Leboh Ampang is KL's old quarter where generations of traders horn their trade in textiles, silverware and other Asian merchandise as wholesalers.Today most are still around and many have moved on from these old colonial shoplots that are remaining. We discovered an unusual food shop right along this busy road. It's called Jalan Malacca "Ikan Bakar”. Literally, fried fish of Jalan Malacca. This name was coined to reflect the owner who is from Malacca, a city that is famous for its fried fish it seems. The video exudes strong aroma from the hot plate right in front of the shop. Different types of fish are dipped into curry paste and nicely wrapped with banana leaf before being lined up on the hot plate. Stingrays, mackeral and such are your choice. Mostly served with rice, fish paste and spicy gravy together with other dishes in the shop. Join the crowd for lunch. And then share your experience and this video. Subscribe for more!
