On April 2 Lady Antebellum joined members of Congress for the 2014 GRAMMYs on the Hill Awards in Washington, D.C. The GRAMMY-winning country trio received the Recording Artists' Coalition Award. Also on hand were event host Joy Williams of the Civil Wars and performers Hanson and Los Lonely Boys. House of Representatives Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) were honored for their support of music creators.
