Korean Airlines rarely brings their Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental to LAX. On this particular day, it was a equipment sub for the Airbus A380-800.
All flights from the Pacific Rim usually lands on the north runways, but on this day, the aircraft landed on 25L. What was really weird was that when he landed, tower ATC was adamant that he turn left off the runway onto Taxiway 'A'. After he vacated the runway, tower asked 'Where do you park?', Korean 747-8 said Gate 156. The tower said "You are not cargo?" LOL. Flight crew said "We have windows".
LAX does get the Korean Cargo Boeing 747-8F on daily basis, perhaps the ATC thought it was cargo all along...
