Konarak Reddy is one of India's most innovative guitarists, known for integrating Hindustani and Carnatic styles of improvisation. Over the years, Konarak has performed and toured with a range of world-class musicians. To create awareness around the guitar and its diverse styles, he initiated the idea of World Guitar Nights by hosting a number of world famous guitarists to perform in India.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
