Did you know that there are 8 ancient rivers running through the city of KL? They are Bunus, Keroh, Batu, Kerayong, Jinjang, Ampang, Klang and Gombak rivers. These rivers have been the lifeblood of this city for over a century.  Indeed since 20111 the KL River Of Life project  has been transforming these 110km of rivers into something awesome. By 2017 almost 46% of the project is completed, with a target to finish by 2020. This huge urban regeneration programme to clean, beautify and activate rivers in the heart of KL  will eventually see paths, walkways ,waterways along these rivers thriving with recreational and liveable areas. From the St Mary's Cathedral, the 107-year old Masjid Jamek  to the Central Market ,and all over , this transformation will bring a breathe of fresh air as well as a welcoming sight for locals and tourists..
