Manaweblife stopped along the trunk road to Bentong from the Karak Highway and popped into a honey jackfruit stall that advertises itself with  displays of jackfruit 'skins'. This video shows the simple stall set-up with its display of huge jackfruits and you will see how the fruits are removed one by one on the spot. The freshly 'plucked' individual fruits are sold in packs and even the 'skin' are given away as fodder for farmers with livestock. Nowadays jackfruits have ratings or classifications too, just like durians. The stall sells J33 honey jackfruits and it seems now is the season of jackfruits.
