The impeachment inquiry into US president Donald Trump has resumed, with another day of public hearings. Today's session centers on testimony from Marie Yovanovitch. The former US ambassador to Ukraine was fired from her post in Kiev after coming under attack by Trump's personal lawyer, Rudolf Giuliani. Later she was branded 'bad news' by Donald Trump. In her opening statement Yovanovitch said she had no agenda other than to pursue the US' stated foreign policy goals.
