The European Union is set to discuss whether to open membership talks with Albania and North Macedonia. Officials say North Macedonia should be rewarded for settling a name dispute last year with neighboring Greece. But Albania’s chances of membership are less hopeful. The Balkan state is considered one of the most corrupt countries in Europe. The country's parliament has begun the process of ousting President Ilir Meta for violation of the constitution, and bribes in the construction business for example are commonplace, as our correspondent Max Zander reports from the capital Tirana.
