International Release Dates - AMC Movie News

I am from Dublin in Ireland and it is annoying when movies are released earlier in America or any other country. I understand limited releases such as the release Birdman had but sometimes even the blockbuster films can be released weeks ahead in other countries than over here in Ireland? Why is this? I think it would be more beneficial to release it all on the same day, distributing may be more difficult but I think it would reduce the pirating of films as well. If a film isn’t out in cinema but its available online I think more people are tempted. Personally I will support films when I can, I stopped myself from downloading whiplash and saw it in cinema instead but other films that havent been released yet in my area will probably be watched online instantly rather than having to wait another month or two until it finally releases.
