In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Samantha Lee, I started bento making in December 2008. When I was heavily pregnant with my second daughter. It was to encourage my elder daughter to eat independently after the arrival of her younger sister.
I have never been to culinary school. Just a regular stay at home mom. At first I searched online for ideas. Now, I just let my imagination take its course. I sketch my designs before I make them into food to stay organized and prevent food from being wasted.
I do not use expensive gadgets or tools, instead turning scissors, knives and toothpicks to shape the food. My philosophy is simple. I like to make something practical, something for everyone to be able to follow.
