Ren Zhengfei, CEO of Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has compared the company to a badly damaged airplane and announced plans to slash production. Ren Zhengfei expects global smartphone sales to be down 40 percent this year as a result of US attempts to isolate the company internationally. But he insists the company will recover.
