Back in the summer of 2013 Sony's Screen Gems set a release date for Resident Evil 6 on September 12, 2014, however there has been no movement on the project since and that release date is now impossible. At a recent conference director Paul W.S. Anderson said he would soon be returning home to begin writing the next film.
