Hippos Out Of The Water In The Maasai Mara

Across the abundant grassland of the Maasai Mara it is rare to see a rhinoceros but another assive lubering beast is often seen grazing instead. Hippos are obviously seen in the water quite frequently but it seems they also are quite happy grazing outside of the water in broad daylight. Hippos have quite sensitive skin and the harsh African sun can dry them out easily this didn't seem to worry the collection of hippos seen in this video though!
