Thirty years ago, a scandalous story about a 35-year-old man's affair with a 16-year-old took over the headlines across the United States. The 16-year-old, Amy Fisher, shot Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of the 35-year-old Joey Buttafuoco, in the face. While Mary Jo miraculously survived the attack, both Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco went to jail.

In the years since, Joey Buttafuoco has tried, with relatively limited success, to capitalize on the bit of fame he got from the fiasco. He has also found himself in legal hot water more than a few times, as well. Here's what happened to Joey Buttafuoco.
