A dream - justlike a rose - grows
والهِلالْ يصْبَحْ قَمَرْ
And the crescent becomes a full moon




اُدْخُلِي بِيُوت القَصَبْ
Enter the huts and shanty towns
واسْقِي أزْهار الغَضَبْ
And water the flowers of anger
وخَبِّرِي دَمْعِةْبِلادِي
And inform my country's tears
إنّ ماسِحْهَا حَضَرْ
That the one who is going to wipe them has arrived

قَطْرةْ قطْرَة عَ الدُرُوبْ
Drop by drop on the paths
غَنِّي لِعْطَش القُلُوبْ
Sing for the hearts' thirst
وما تْخافِي السَحابْ يا حرة
And do not fear the clouds O free land
الصَفْو مِنْ بَعْد الكدَرْ
Good times always follow the bad ones


ضُمِّينِي وبِلِّي لِي رِيقِي
