Ahead of the second round of Georgia's presidential elections opposition candidate Grigol Vashadze spoke with DW's Zhanna Nemtsova. Vashadze, who got around 37 percent of the votes in the first round, shared his views on democracy in Georgia. He told DW about his personal connections with Russia and presented arguments in favour of pardoning former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili. In the interview he also explained the reasons for giving up his Russian citizenship.
